Just a recap, after exams, a crazy week of clearing my backlog before going to my youth fellowship’s camp at mersing,

then before i knew it, it was off to krabi (more like ton sai) for rockclimbing. i did wish i had a bit more time there to spend a day or two just shooting.

then after those fabulous days of sun, sand, rocks, sea and skies, it was back to the mundane singapore life. well not so mundane steamboat dinner at golden mile tower (after realising the marina south steamboat-bbq places were all closed) with jeannie, fx, pao, kean and mj.

then school started and life began its routine cycle. thank God i have a 3 day week this sem, but the modules do look a lil heavy even for so little credits.
anyways i do believe in promoting local music, and i heard this at esplanade while just wondering around. it was an acoustic performance by Ling and Alwi (sp?) called, “Come Loose with Us.” nice covers of Radiohead’s “Bright Star”, Damien Rice’s “Volcano” and a few others, along with some original pieces like, “8am”

but more importantly, in 13 hours and 15 mins time, finals will be starting with a psychology paper i’m not looking forward to.
this will be followed the next day with an econs paper, that i feel that i will forget the answers to.
then a math paper i really dread cuz i don’t have enough practice ever.
before a day’s break and then a paper on human nutrition just cuz i have to.

today we went to MJ’s house (thanks dude for opening your place up) managed to persuade 3 people (who didn’t really want to) to come down in the end heh! dinner at the market behind heartland mall and then back home. realised i’ve a bit of drippy nose *eyes jeannie suspiciously*

anyways, this has to be shared heh. basically i snapped this of jeannie studying yesterday,
 
and i asked a few of our friends if she was photogenic, and they both agreed that she was. but she remained unconvinced so..

even under the meds (for my running nose – to slow it down somewhat) i found it incredibly funny heh.anyways i’m going to post up the PotD (picture of the day) for monochromatic nights and go to get some rest. can’t afford to fall sick now!

road trip so far has been utterly boring. i haven’t got many shots as i wished i had. weather was alright but going ard the city centres meant boring boring stuff (or i haven’t seen something i can actually shoot yet)

getting lost and going around in circles however, meant my friends can’t read maps. haha..!

i’m tired but i can’t seem to sleep. perhaps will try to get some work done since i’m here and have nothing except my macbook for company.

well, we can still always pick up the pieces and carry on our journeys. and i believe we’ll go far (:

congrats to two of my close friends, james & angeline (: was a wonderful opportunity to shoot their wedding (albeit as a 2nd photog – and now have far too many photos and too lil time to processs, all 811 pics) was completely bummered out after dinner for my 9th grand aunt’s birthday. too much wine didn’t help as well.

i’ve started a new series, called “monochromatic nights” go check it out from the link on my portfolio or monochromatic nights

sent them 4 questions only to find out they took out a whole slide we based our questions on, because our questions showed their rather obvious loophole. they tore down their slides right through to close that gap. then they used the questions we were to pose to them in their presentation. so effectively nullifying our questions.
